GIS Analyst
Job Description

As a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Analyst at TBSL, you will leverage your GIS skills to directly lead and support trainings,
professional services, and business development opportunities. The GIS analyst will be deeply involved in pre- and post-sales business
processes and will work with customers to translate business needs and objectives into technical plans and solutions. It is expected that
the GIS analyst will have a firm knowledge of GIS and Remote Sensing technologies, their applications, foundational concepts, and
database and application design principles.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and administer trainings on the suite of ArcGIS Products
• Define and prepare relevant use case applications utilizing the ArcGIS Technology
• Develop and promote imagery solutions
• Support the implementation of project initiatives
• Provide technical support and guidance to drive product adoption and implementation
• Perform quality assurance and quality control on organizational geospatial data
• Develop, implement, and maintain organizational GIS databases
• Work with administrators to develop the technical work plan
• Conduct in-house trainings and provide mentorship to junior technical staff

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant subject area (Geography, GIS, and related fields)
• 3-5 years of applied experience in GIS or Remote Sensing
• Experience using field data collection applications, drones, and/or drone mapping software is a plus

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

• Demonstrated proficiency using the ArcGIS Technology, specifically ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Pro
• Proven record in technical writing and data analysis
• Strong interest in GIS and GIS applications
• Understanding of GIS concepts and principles
• Understanding of GIS data and their use in GIS applications
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting project objectives
• Ability to communicate technical ideas and concepts clearly and concisely to technical and non-technical audiences
• Self-motivated, a proactive problem solver, team-oriented, and creative.
• Exceptional interpersonal, written/verbal communication, multi-tasking, and presentation skills are essential
• Entrepreneurial attitude and willingness to learn
• Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and
work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service
• Strong technical problem solving, and issue resolution skills, combined with well-developed analytical skills and detail
orientation
• Self-starter with a high level of initiative, and ability to plan and carry out work independently.
