Security Analyst | Remote Intern

SecurityPal is an early stage startup based out of San Francisco. We are on a mission to
help companies and organizations grow faster by speeding up the process of critical
security audits and documentation. We help automate significant portions of critical
security audits and documentation. This helps our customers save a lot of time and
resources from their sales, security, and engineering leaders. We are currently working with
several unicorns (Airtable, Figma, etc.) as well as other smaller but fast-growing startups in
the United States and Europe.

SecurityPal needs you because of your excellent writing and attention to


detail skills. As a Security Analyst or Intern, you will be responsible for:
● Reviewing, auditing, and completing detailed security assessment documents

● Building a knowledge library and database of compliance and regulations in the


technology space

● Providing a deliverable to customers within a tight time frame

● Operationalizing the core workflows and processes at SecurityPal

Depending on performance, there will be an opportunity to continue the internship through


the school year and beyond (also looking for recent graduates for full-time employment). If

To be a competitive candidate you should have the following skills:


● Excellent writing skills and supreme attention to detail (grammar, punctuation,
formatting)

● Top notch project management and time management skills

● An ability to consistently hit a deadline and manage resources against the given
deadline

● Good Customer Support skills — experience working with customers or clients at


another startup/nonprofit/organization is a plus!

● Empathy and ability to listen to customer needs and understand the underlying
challenges

● Problem solving skills and resourcefulness under limited guidance

● Ability to ask for more direction if unsure about a given task or assignment

● Experience with Microsoft Excel/Word, Google Sheets/Docs — Airtable, Notion,


Zapier is a plus!
