CONFERENCE HALL OF THE CORPORATION FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF e-
OFFICE IN OSCSC LTD.
A meeting regarding implementation of e-Office was held on dated 20.04.2022 at
04.00 P.M in Conference Hall, OSCSC Ltd. Under the Chairmanship of Managing Director,
OSCSC Ltd.
The members present in the meeting are annexed at “A”
The meeting started with an appraisal note to the Chair. The Chairman sought for
necessary points to be taken care of for implementation of e-Office in OSCSC Ltd. The
representatives of CMGI discussed & clarified the points raised by the Officer/Officials of
OSCSC Ltd. After an elaborate discussion the following decisions were taken.
1. The Odisha State Civil Supplies Corporation Ltd. is interested to implement
e-Office in this office w.e.f. 09.05.2022 in order to bring improve efficiency,
consistency, effectiveness of government responses, establishing a paperless
environment, transparency and accountability.
2. For the implementation of e-Office, Scanning of the files is required in order to
convert a document from its physical form into electronic form. After brief
discussion, the representatives of CMGI suggested that the scanning of files may
be done through RailTel Corporation of India Ltd. Since the scanning work of
different govt. organisations for implementation of e-Office is done by RailTel.
3. Further, it was decided that the Branch Head to make assessment of the volume
of files / records to be scanned pertaining to running files along with preceding
two years.
4. The existing internet bandwidth speed of this office is 30 Mbps. The Project
Coordinator of CMGI has suggested that, the bandwidth speed is required to be
enhanced for implementation of e-Office.
5. Employees data collection and updataion of Corporation Head Office and File
Head of different Sections to be collected which will be transmitted to the Project
Assistant, CMGI.
6. The G.M (PDS) designated as the Nodal Officer for Co-ordination and monitoring
of progress of implementation of e-Office in OSCSC Ltd., Head Office,
Bhubaneswar.
The meeting ended with vote of thanks to the chair.
