1. List the right and the corresponding duties and obligations of a teacher.
(At least 5 rights and 5 obligations)
RIGHTS
1. No person shall make any
deduction whatsoever from the
salaries of teachers except under
specific authority of law
authorizing such deductions.
2. The right of Consent for Transfer
Transportation Expenses should
be given and No teacher shall be
transferred without his consent
from one station to another.
OBLIGATION
1. That upon written authority
executed by the teacher
concerned, (1) lawful dues and
fees owing to the Philippine
Public School Teachers
Association, and (2) premiums
properly due on insurance
policies, shall be considered
deductible.
2. If the teacher believes there is
no justification for the transfer,
he may appeal his case to the
Director of Public Schools or the
Director of Vocational
Education, as the case may be.
Pending his appeal and the
decision thereon, his transfer
shall be held in
abeyance: Provided, however,
that no transfers whatever shall
be made three months before
any local or national election.
3. Any teacher engaged in actual
classroom instruction shall not
be required to render more than
six hours of actual classroom
teaching a day, which shall be so
scheduled as to give him time
for the preparation and
correction of exercises and other
work incidental to his normal
teaching duties:

remuneration plus at least
twenty-five per cent of his basic
pay.

teaching; (3) carrying out mobile

appointment.

REFLECTION ON TEACHERS RIGHTS
1. This is the right that gives a
teacher the power to have the
salary they deserve without
unnecessary deductions.
2. I do believe that a teacher has
the right to speak up on his/her
side when ask to be transfer
from one school to another for
her safety and security.
3. The right of the teacher to be
given a time for the preparation
and correction of exercises and
other work incidental to his/her
normal teaching duties is highly
appreciated since, the work of a
teacher is not easy to
accomplished in short span of
time.
4. Having the right to be a part of
REFLECTIONS ON TEACHERS
OBLIGATIONS
1. As a teacher, he/she is obliged
to do our duties and
responsibilities but not be
deducted without legal
purposes.
2. Teacher are obliged on her
status in school at the same time
his/her safety and security in the
possible area to be transferred.
3. Every teacher must be given
enough time to prepare his/her
lesson and be given additional
credits for the exceeding time
he/she spent in providing quality
education to the students.
4. Teacher is obliged to participate
 an organization will lead to
promote the welfare and
interests of a teacher. Through
participating in different
organizations/groups helps
sharpen his/her abilities and
socializing skills.
5. It is necessary to give privileged
to a teacher who is exposed to
hardships in commuting to their
place of work and other hazards
deserve to receive incentives.
and join to the organization in
the community because they are
one of the individuals who give
big impact to the community in
terms of learning’s.
5. Teacher who suffered hardships
in his/her workplace must show
their evidence of his/her status
in the workplace.
