BACKGROUND:

The co-owners of the CCLOA were called for a meeting which was
conducted last April 8, 2022, held at Brgy. Numero, Mabitac, Laguna, to
conduct the actual consultation meeting and field validation.

The CCLOA is compose of four (4) ARBs who were not residents of
the town or the barangay, they are all residing at the city.

The only present is the overseer, Mr. Monico Planillo who is


connected to the personnel of LANDCOM.

FINDINGS AND ISSUES:

The subject land is now considered as forest since they have cut all
the coconut trees and other original trees therein, and now, according to
the overseer, it is planted with “mga ligaw na halaman na kusang
tumubo”.

Upon interview, still at the overseer, the landowners have no plans


of planting any tree or other plants because, the tentative plan is to
construct a windmill at the area. Thus, they are not to parcelize the land.

The Field Validation Team still tried to communicate with the


landowners and allotted time for them to coordinate, but, eventually after

the consultation meeting even the caretaker did not bother to


communicate.

RECOMMENDATION:

It is hereby recommended that the subject land is not to be parcelized


since the landowners did not agree and they have their own project plan
to the land.
