I. Context and Rationale

Araling Panlipunan is one of the subject which has the highest number of

least mastered competencies. Since they considered it as a boring subject. The

proponent wants to improve more her teaching skills and abilities to improve

students academic performance towards the subject. So the proponent

prompted to conduct such and action Research entitled : Project LAHY:

Creation of School Hymn and its Effectiveness to academic Performance of

grade 6 Pupils in Araling Panlipunan.

II. Action Research Questions

This study determined the effectiveness of creation of School Hymn to

academic performance of grade 6 pupils in Araling Panlipunan. Specifically

answers the following

1.What is the performance of the two groups in the pretest?

1.1 Control group

1.2 Experimental group

2.What is the performance of the two groups in posttest?

2.1 Control group

2.2 Experimental group
