OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS OF BOAT DAVIT
( 보우트 데빗트 작동 요령 )

A. LOWERING ( 진 수 )

( 슬립훅크를 풀고 보우트랏싱 로프를 해체한다.)

( 암고정 레버의 고정핀을 분해하고 데빗트 암 스토퍼를 해체한다,)

( 보우트에 승선한다.)

(보우트안에서 원격조작로프(3)를 당기거나 갑판상에서 브레이크 레버(5)를

들어 올려 보우트를 천천히 갑판위치로 하강시킨다.)

BOAT 2 ( 주 의)

( 데빗트 암 하강시는 가능한 천천히 하강시킨다. )

( 보우트가 수면에 도달하면 하강을 완료하고 보우트의 훅크를 해체한다. )

B. HOISTING ( 인 양 )

(보우트 양 훅크를 플로팅블록에 결속한다.)

( 전원스위치를 "ON" 한다.)

(원격조작푸시버튼 스위치로 보우트를 인양시킨다.)

(주 의)

4 (구조정 데빗트 격납시는 윈치의 속도전환 레버를 "저속" 위치로 필히 전환 시킬것.)

( 작동자나 리미트스위치에 의해 격납이 완료되면 수동핸들로 완전하게 데빗트를 탑재한다.)

(데빗트 암 고정레버를 올려 핀으로 고정한다.)

(보우트를 랏싱로우프로 체결하고 턴버클로 결속한다.)

( 전원 스위치를 내린다. )

7.1.1 Description for winch’s brake system.(Lamellar brakes for pwd gearboxes)

Brevini Ridutton’s lamellar brakes are operated by the thrust generated by a series of springs acting
on alternating pairs of fixedand mobile discs. The brake is released by hydraulic pressure in the cy-
linder. The brake is therefore ‘negative’ in action and should be used as a parking brake rather than

1.2 TEST PROCEDURE

Each new davit-launched lifeboat and rescue boat should be loaded to 1.1times its related load
and
suspeded from its release mechanism.
The life-boat or rescue boat should then be released with the load on the release mechanism. It
should also be confirmed that the lifeboat or rescue boat will release when fully waterborne in the

The launching appliance and its attachments other than winch brakes should be of sufficient strength
withstand a static proof load on test of not less than 2.2 times the maximum working load.

There should be no evidence of significant deformation or other damage as a result of this test.
