The researcher, Dominador Villanueva Parlero III, was born on June 22, 1999 at

Sumilil Bagumbayan, Sultan Kudarat. He is the second child among four siblings of Mr.

Dominador A. Parlero Jr. and Mrs. Rizza V. Parlero. His father is a Principal in Arsenio

Elementary School Isulan, Sultan Kudarat, while his mother are also an elementary

teacher at Arsenio Elementary school. They were presently residing at barangay

Arsenio Kudanding, Isulan, Sultan Kudarat.

The researcher was belong to the K-12 program. He is the 1 st batch where K-12

was implemented. He graduated his elementary education at Arsenio Elementary

School on S.Y 2011-2012. He took his secondary education at Notre Dame of Isulan

Campus and graduated on April S.Y 2017-2018.

Now He is currently studying at Sultan Kudarat State University-Acess Campus

with the course of Bachelor of Science in Criminology.

DOMINADOR V. PARLERO III. MAY 2022. “JUVENILE DELINQUENCY: CAUSES

AND PROGRAMS IMPLEMENTED BY BARANGAY OFFICIALS IN BARANGAY

KUDANDING, ISULAN SULTAN KUDARAT”. A thesis of College of Criminal Justice

Education, Sultan Kudarat State University, ACCESS, E.J.C., Montilla, Tacurong City,

Sultan Kudarat.

This thesis entitled, “JUVENILE DELINQUENCY: ANALYSIS ON THE CAUSES

OF DELINQUENCY AND PROGRAMS OF BARANGAY KUDANDING ISULAN

SULTAN KUDARAT”, was conducted to determine the different factors that

causes juvenile delinquency and the extent of the barangay programs of barangay

kudanding isulan sultan kudarat. A survey questionnaire was used as instrument in data

gathering, one hundred fifteen youths of barangay kudanding, isulan, Sultan Kudarat

The said study used the simple mean and standard deviation, to determine and

analyze the causes of delinquency and the extent programs given by the barangay

kudanding, Isulan, Sultan Kudarat

The result of this study shows that factors that affects juvenile delinquency such

as the family factors, socioeconomic factors, school & environmental factors and the
peer pressure and the extent programs of barangay kudanding in terms of anti-bullying

programs, community based programs and the youth mentoring.
