Lesson Objectives
At the end of the lesson:
Students can construct a variety of questions/initiate and develop a conversation in a social situation (at parties, in a line, at
café, at work) with 80% accuracy.
Students can formulate a comprehensive description of their work duties with 80% accuracy
Teacher introduces “ice-breaking” questions and elicits students’ responses, focusing on questions forms.
Listening comprehension exercises provide vocabulary to build upon.
Then teacher explains questions structures (subject-verb inversion/do insertions)

Production (15):
Students will prepare questions to ask each other about work, travel, food, acquaintances, studies, hobbies and interests.

Presentation (5mins):
Teacher introduces the question “What do you do?” then models/describes his job(s) position and duties. Explain the
difference between job and work and presents different types of jobs.
Production (10):
Students compose a detailed description of the post, including responsibilities, schedule and routine
