HR Specialist

Duties and Responsibilities:


 Conducts end to end recruitment from sourcing to onboarding
 Screens candidates by performing background checks and verifying their
qualifications and experience
 Ensures completeness of pre-employment requirements before endorsing to HR –
Compensation and Benefits, especially NBI Clearances
 Ensures offer letters and employment contracts are signed
 Screens and selects resumes based on hiring requirements
 Prepares and posts job advertisements online
 Maintains candidate database and handles any relevant paperwork
 Follows up with candidates during the recruitment process, like shortlisting,
callbacks or rejection emails
 Coordinate with concerned TAS employees in charge of applicant interviews and
shortlisting
 Coordinate with schools, PESO and other offline sources for leads
 Ensures recruitment targets are met
 Gives a copy of the employee manual, code of discipline and other relevant policies,
as needed
 Assists successful candidates with the on-boarding process, preparing documents
and coordinating orientation agendas, as needed
 Conducts new hire orientation, as needed
 Assist in employee engagement activities, timekeeping and other HR aspects
 Liaise between employees and management
 Do other tasks as may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications:
 Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Business, or any relevant field
 At least two years of experience as a HR assistant or a related role
 Familiarity with standard hiring practices
 Familiarity with HR processes
 Able to maintain confidentiality
 Strong organizational and time management skills.
 Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
 Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
 Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
 Can use Skype, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Calendar, Google Meet, Google
Drive, Zoom, MS Office and Gmail
 Must live in Bacolod City or neighboring area
