At amp.’ the start-up, the K- Front firmware checks if the DSP and/or AESOP board is
installed on the amplifier.

In case it’ required to replace the SMC00635B, it’s mandatory to inform Powersoft about of the model, and serial number of the faulty unit before to ship the
replacement board; without this two information, it’s possible to replace just the display.

The error code value displayed in the main screen is the sum of the single error code values. An “error” occurs when the following voltage values
or power conditions fall outside normal ranges.

For example: 4301 4301=4000+200+100+1 means there are 4 distinct errors

 Firmware Update Card

The firmware card is used to update the K Series and/or Duecanali with the latest version of firmware released
from Powersoft officially.

The latest version of the firmware is available to download on the Powersoft web site.

 It recommended all the times that has replaced the K-CTRL or/and DSP board.

After you have upgraded the firmware please follow the procedure for adjusting Offset output current expalined in
the service manual or the procedure powersoft_ KseriesCTRLBoard_servnote.

The amplifier power supply board replcament does not require any firmware updated

The procedure to updated the K-Series, with the firmware card is described on K - Series service manual.

DSP board is customized board.

In every DSP board has installed firmware Vers. 1.2.0 with flat preset but is required an initialization procedure
to become full compliant with Armonia application software.
Every service centre should provide to Powersoft the serial number of the fault unit for processing this
initialization of replacement DSp board.
This procedure can be proceed in Powersoft only
 Labels meaning on Amps.

Every single amp or module is identified with own serial number that Powersoft has assigned
during the manufacturing process.
The serial number is essential information for recovering the history of the amp / module and should be always
mentioned every time for RMA request, warranty status, technical matter.
