CITY RESOLUTION NO. 226-2018

RESOLUTION DESIGNATING HON. JUDE T. BAVONA BEING THE CHAIRMAN OF THE

COMMITTEE ON PUBLIC SAFETY AND ORDER AND DISASTER PREPAREDNESS
AS THE REPRESENTATIVE OF THE SEVENTH CITY COUNCIL TO THE
CITY PEACE AND ORDER COUNCIL (CPOC)

WHEREAS, the referral, "indorsement of the C4 Mayor, Hon. Atty. leij&rson P. Soriano,
requesting the Seventh City Council to choose one representativefrorn among its members to the City Peace
and Order Council (CP0C) pursuant to Section .1 (d) of Executive Order No. 773 titled (*Further
Reorganizing the Peace and Order Councir, was endorsed to the Seventh City Council;

WHEREAS, the Committee of the Whole to which the matter was referred, met on September 3,
2018 to discuss the subject referral;

VVHEREAS, the matter is pursuant to Section 1(d) of Presidential Executive Order No. 773,
"Further Reorganizing the Peace and Order C:ouncir;

WHEREAS, the members of the committee unanimously recommended Hon. Jude T. Bayona
being the Chairman of the Commiftee on Public Safety and Order and Disaster Preparedness as the
representative of the Seventh City Council for the City Peace and Order Council (CPOC).

NOW, THEREFORE, RESOLVE, as it is hereby RESOLVED, to designate Hon. Jude T.

Bayona being the Chairman of the Commiftee on Public Safety and Order and Disaster Preparedness as the
representative of the Seventh City Council to the City Peace and Order Council (CPOC).

 On motion of Hon. Kendrick S. Calubaquib, duly seconded by Hon. Winnoco R. Abraham and
without any objection, CITY RESOLUTION NO. 226-2018 was APPROVED under suspended rules.
