Character English 5 July 22 Margie Madrid - 1200131 About his life
He was the most prominent leader of the Indian Independence
Movement against the British Raj, for which he practiced non-violent civil disobedience, as well as an Indian Hindu pacifist, politician, thinker and lawyer. He was born on October 2, 1869 in the coastal city of Porbandar, located in the extreme northwest of India, in the Gujarat region. Why do you admire him? I admire Gandhi because he had an impact on modern history, on its leaders and artists for his ethics of tolerance, equality, harmony and balance in dealing with the environment. Why do you choose him amount so many people?
I choose him because Mahatma Gandhi's legacy was not only
his doctrine of non-violence, the fight against poverty and coexistence in peace between different religious creeds, but he was also a visionary on issues that are fully valid today, such as environmental sustainability, tolerance and the peaceful resolution of conflicts. Why was he the chosen one?
Because Gandhi's campaigns sought to combat
the second-class status that Indians received at the hands of the British regime. Eventually, however, they focused on opposing the British regime altogether, a goal that was achieved in the years immediately following World War II. APPROACH HE HAVE DONE TO THE LIFE/WORLD.
His commitment to nonviolence
and satyagraha (peaceful resistance) gave hope to marginalized sections of India.
