READING & WRITING (MELC 5)
IV. ACTIVITY PROPER

EXERCISE 1

1. The text is about the “The Little Prince” written by Antoine de Saint-Exepéry.
2. The author purpose on writing the text is to tell he’s experience in regards to
the story called “The Little Prince”. How the story had him interested and
laugh him vulnerable and how great Saint- Exepéry’s work.
3. Yes, because the author started his perception, experience and lesson from the
book and even recommended it to the readers.
4. It focus mainly on both character and settings

“He is now a pilot who has crash-landed in a desert.” In this line introduced
the narrator of the story and how he ended up there which provide detail of
the setting as well the desert.

5. I think I would remove the part where the author provide detail about the
piece of folk. I thought it wasn’t really necessary and it somehow lose the
interest or the attention of the reader. And the rest, I just feel like I just used to
organize the entire text because the applause are back and forth which is
confusing.
