Day #2 Discussion with the Teachers Concern
Here is the summary of the discussion during the meeting:
 The meeting started at 9:00 PM with the prayer lead by Mam Irene M. Yutuc
 Afterwards, a opening remarks of our Head Teacher Madam Arceli Maniego
 She emphasized the objective of the Summer Class Program
 Furthermore, she called the assigned focal person for the program Madam Yutuc to discuss the guidelines
of the implementation of the summer class program.
 Madam Yutuc first announced the total number of the students officially enrolled in the program and the
list of teachers who handled students taking summer class
 She discussed the guidelines of the implementation of the Program

 She singles out the documents that must be prepared for teaching

 She also mentioned the set number of weeks in the teaching summer class. And it will be six weeks to be
implemented. The timeline - from July 18, 2022 to August 22, 2022 and their schedule will be based on
the arrangement between the subject Teacher and student who taking up summer class and their arranged
schedule of activities will appear on their Individual Learning Plan but the one week remaining will be on
face-to-face leaning modality for the making of their portfolio.
 She also discussed the part of the DO No. 13, 2018, the summer class is a remedial class further stipulated
that remedial class is in the form of tutorial, mentoring, coaching or other ways delivering the organized
learning process.
 She also explained the process of recomputing of grades
 As the FGD session will go through, in the discussion of the implementation rules, there were some
questions related to the students who enrolled but could not comply, what will going to do, with same
scenario in the mainstream teaching learning process the students will fail to pass the subject.
 And there was also a question about their benefit of teaching in the summer class, their question was
answered based on the DO No. 5, 2004 granting of service credit for teachers ‘rendering their service
during vacation with corresponding portfolio to be submit.
 The discussion was adjourned at 10:30 in the morning

Day #1 Discussion with the Parents Concerns
Here is the summary of the discussion during the meeting:
 The meeting was started at exactly 8:30 in the morning, seven parents was already inside the room,
 We started with simple kumustahan with the students and parents before we proceed to the main
agenda.
 The focal person Madam Irene Yutuc discussed the objective of the summer class and asked them
what will be their part in the program. It was clear that they knew their responsibility as the parent of
their child, it was also clear for them to support their child or the student on the process of their
studying.
 She discussed the guideline of the program and the needed prepared learning material for the students
like the portfolio and learning modality they will choose based on the status of their child and the
scheduled will be based on the arrangement between the subject teacher and students, and reminded
them to monitor their child in their studying especially in making their activities. Reminded them to be
responsible on the set up scheduled of learning process of their child
