Strife in a relationship is a poison to the mind.

There are many ways to handle a toxic

relationship. But one of the best ways is meditation. People need to realize that they are
stronger than any situation and there is always a solution. But, that solution will be only
available if they are in a position to see it. Meditation will provide the platform to see that
opportunity. What is meditation? Meditation is the science of controlling the mind and one’s
body to reach a state of higher consciousness. One way of defining meditation is “the state of
awareness of being aware”. It is nothing but “the awareness of the awareness of the
awareness of being aware”. This definition is pretty vague because there is no set time for
meditation. It may take a few minutes to few hours. The length of meditation depends on
what the practitioner wants to achieve and what the practitioner needs at that moment. There
are many kinds of meditation. These can be categorised as follows: Concentration Meditation
Mindfulness Meditation Mindful Meditation Meditation to Heal Relationship Issues
Meditation to Heal Yourself Meditation to Achieve Wealth Meditation to Achieve Wisdom
Let’s begin with concentration meditation: Concentration Meditation Concentration
meditation includes the practice of concentration. It includes one-pointed attention on one
subject such as a sound, a body part, a word, an emotion or a thought. It is important to have
a peaceful environment to practice meditation. As the name suggests, concentration
meditation aims to achieve single point of concentration. Mindfulness meditation It is the art
of being aware of each and every moment. It doesn’t involve thinking too much about
anything else. It is a kind of non-judgmental awareness of the moment. It is the art of being
aware of the present moment. It is the art of non-judgment. It is the art of non-attachment. As
the name suggests, the purpose of mindfulness is to be aware of each and every moment of
life. It can be practised in a calm environment such as a sitting meditation room. As the name
suggests, mindfulness includes the awareness of each and every moment of life. It is the art
of non-judgment. It is the art of non-attachment. It is the art of being in the moment. It is the
art of being aware of the present moment. Mindful Meditation The same idea as meditation
but mindfulness is applied with an objective. One of the objectives is to deal with anxiety.
Another is to deal with stress. Another is to be aware of the feelings that are coming up in the
mind.
