Organizational Background
Apila ng Bayan Inc. is a SEC-registered non-profit organization
whose objective is the betterment of society by undertaking
humanitarian and charity work. We are operating for more than 12
years and have thousands of members nationwide. This year 2022,
we will be focusing on preserving, conserving, and protecting our
mother nature by conducting Tree Planting and Waste Management
Projects.
Rationale
Trees are one of the most powerful tools that buy us time in the
fight against the climate crisis and It is a critical component in the
quest for food and nutritional security.
In the efforts to preserve, conserve and protect our environment,
and ultimately the Earth, Apila ng Bayan Incorporated came up with
the idea of conducting a tree planting project entitled “MAKa-
Kalikasan Project”. With tree planting, even a small effort makes a
huge difference in leaving an on-going environmental legacy in life.
Over 100 fruit-bearing seedlings were successfully planted during
the first wave of Maka-kalikasan Project at Sitio Bakal, Brgy.
Bagong Silangan Quezon City and we are aiming to plant more trees
