AMELIA EARHART

Amelia Earhart was born in

Atchison (USA) in 1898.


It is believed that he died on

July 2, 1937 during a flight at

sea. (she was 39 years old).

She was an American aviatrix. Earhart graduated from

Columbia University, after she worked as a nurse in a hospital

during the first World War. On June 18, 1928, she became the

first woman to cross the Atlantic as a passenger, on a plane. In

1932 became the first woman to cross the Atlantic alone. In this

moment, she was a reference for many womens, and one of the

promoters of feminism in Unite Estates. In the following months

he made several flights from coast to coast of the USA. In 1937

Amelia Earhart announced that she would go around the world

on a different route, and she disappeared on the sea.
