You are requested to consider involving students in the following activities during internship
I. Ensure that students spend maximum time in diferent departments and shops of your industry
pertaining to metallurgy and materials engineering.
2. Involve students in problem-based learning by giving them small problems each day/week followed
by presentations and discussions by them in front of their mentors.
3. At the end of internship, it should be mandatory for the students to submit a written report about
various processes of the industry which should be evaluated by team of engineers/supervisor.

As an organization head, we need your feedback about the performance of our students during their
internship. It is therefore requested to provide feedback by filling out the internship evaluation proforma
provided to the students/emailed to you, This proforma plays a critical role in the continuous quality
improvement of our BSc (Engg.) program. This proforma should be filled by the engineer/ expert at your
organization supervising the internees and returned se envelope.
