Purpose of the Laboratory Examination:


To determine whether the signature appearing in specimen marked as QS1 genuine
signature of Miss. Shirley S. Ligan

Method Used:
SS-1 to SS-150 were enlarged through Xerox Machine. This to emphasize the
characteristics of the signature under examination. Characteristics of the standard signature were
studied and evaluated like the questioned.

The enlarged of the standard specimen marked as SS-1 to SS-150 were placed in a
juxtaposition with each other and their general and individual characteristics. The Questioned
Signature marked as QS-1 was studied and interpreted. After which, the carefully considered
general and individual characteristics between the standard specimen marked as SS-1 to SS-150.
The general individual characteristics found in the specimen marked as QS1 carefully compared,
considered of all match. Reasoning of signature and dissimilarities come into operation.

Conclusion:
After the exhaustive comparative analysis conducted, it is considered the opinion of the
independent Undersigned specialist that the signature appeared on the specimen marked as QS-1
is not genuine signature of Miss Shirley S. Ligan

REASONING BETWEEN STANDARD AND QUESTIONED SPECIMEN

QS1

REASONING:
1. In QS1, where the arrow pointing shows that there is a Change Slant happened, while on SS1 up
to SS150 have no Change Slant.
2. In QS1, where the arrow pointing shows that there is a retracing happened, while on SS1 up to
SS150 have no retracing happened.
3. In QS1 where the arrow pointing shows that there is wavering happened, while on SS1 up to
SS150 have no wavering happened.
