strength, durability, easy installation, and low cost have made it one of the most widely
used plastics in the world. It is different in size ie, , 1 ½ inn, 2 inn, 3 inn and 4inn with
the length of 3 and 6 meter.

Pvc Fittings:
The main purpose of fittings is to help change or stop the direction of the water (or
gas) flow. Each plumbing fitting has a specific function to fulfil -for example, elbow
joints allow pipe connections in different directions, and caps completely stop the flow at
a given point. Some of the pve fittings are;
 Pvc Elbow(half and full)

is used for hot and cold potable water applications in residential construction.
Because of its makeup, CPVC is immune to damage from highly chlorinated domestic
water and has a higher temperature tolerance than PVC. It is also found in different size ie
½ inn, 3/4 in, 1 inn, 1 ½ inn, 2 inn with the length of 3 meter.

thermoplastic polypropylene. Plastic chairs are lightweight polypropylene chair which
can be found at an array of places. The gate of the mould is usually located in the seat to
ensure a smooth flow to all parts of the tool.

Plastic Table:
Plastics have become the material of choice for workbenches and industrial tables, as
HDPE (high density polyethylene), UHMW (ultra high molecular weight polyethylene),
and polypropylene provides numerous advantages not offered by metal, wood, aluminum
or other materials.

HDPE Pipe:
HDPE is a hydrocarbon polymer prepared from ethylene/petroleum by a catalytic process.
It is a kind of thermoplastic which is famous for its tensile strength. Its unique properties
can stand high temperatures. High-density polyethylene pipe (HDPE) can carry potable

Problems encountered during fulfilling work responsibilities are as follows:
 Customers were impatient and were not trying to listen to the available products
because they demand specific, which made it difficult to work.
 Customers did nit wan to understand the complexity of the process of production
of new items as per their requisites.
 Using of lengthy process of billing sometimes make the work procedure complex
and time consuming.
 Improper behavior of the customers during data collection when asked about their
company feedbacks.
 Difficulty in meeting the targets because of the low uptake from the markets;
customers demand high quality at very low price.
 Payments delays, complaints after very long gap and competitors price for the
make shift to enter the market retention very difficult.

2.5 Critical Analysis of the Theoretical Concepts Relating to Practical

Experience in the Departments
The eight weeks of the internship program gave the intern full experiences regarding
working in the marketing department. From different studies I have learned about the
marketing department and the dynamic behavior of the market and how it functions. In
reality the practical experiences are different from the theoretical concepts. So the critical
analysis of the theoretical concepts relating to practical experiences in the sales
departments was not found as mentioned in the theory which made working practically
difficult. The intern has found the following gaps between theory and practical
experiences.
 Theories of motivations, team work, working environment were found to be
hardly implemented.
 Job rotation, specification of the job, etc were also merely found which is learnt
important in management concepts in theory.
 The tastes and preferences of the consumers were very hard to analyze.
 Different qualities of the employees as it was learnt like regularity, supportive,
friendliness, and responsiveness etc was not found in the team.

13
 Route settlement planning as learned in theory was not found very hard to be
implemented practically.

2.6 Knowledge Gain From the Work Assigned

The entire lesson learnt cannot be expressed in the language form because much
knowledge is related to the relaxation rather than theoretical knowledge. It has definitely
brought new insight into the knowledge base by helping to make proper use do
acquainted theoretical knowledge as well as by contributing in enlarging the tactic
knowledge. The important lesson that the intern is happy to express in the word form are
as follows:
 Knowledge about Plastics products and services.
 Learnt about the overall norms and organizational behaviour of Laxmi
Technoplast.
 To adjust own self working in dynamic environment along with different ploices
and norms.
 Using of software and hand held technology along with the various data to gather
information about market.
 To make good relation with coworkers, seniors, and general customers.
 Making customers happy is the only option that boosts the sales.
 Willingness to work and taking initiatives boosts confidence in work.
Many lessons along with these small and big were learnt which broadened the knowledge
and brought work maturity in intern. So, these two months of internship was the time
where the intern got the most exposure to what it is like to work in real life than what was
learnt in the classrooms or books. The internship program gave the intern the experiences
which will be helpful to build a platform and prepare for the future either be working in
sales, marketing, or services departments etc.

14
