Biratnagar, Nepal. It is the partial fulfillment for the degree of Bachelor of Business
Administration (B.B.A). So, the report has been prepared on the topic "Internship Report
on Deposit and Loan Department of Ganesh Multipurpose Co-operative Limited,
Rajgadh, Jhapa, Nepal."
During the preparation of this report I was sincerely and timely encouraged and support
by a few people. First of all, I would like to thank Purbanchal University for providing me
the golden opportunity to go through internship work and gain real analyzing experience
of organization which will definitely act as a milestone in our career ahead. As well I
extend my heartfelt of thanks to the staff of the co-operative who helped me in Internship
work. I would like to express my warm appreciation to campus chief Dr. Prasant Kumar

 Executive Summary
A Co-operative plays an important role in the economic development of the country. Co-
operative is a separate firm of a group of people. It is an owned firm of a group of
members that is operated and controlled by themselves for their own benefit. Co-
operatives are business that are owned and democratically controlled by their members-
the people who buy their goods or use their services-not by investors. They operate on the
principle of “one member, one vote.” That is, unlike investors owned business where
voting rights are based on ownership share, each member of a co-operative has same
voting power.
The research has been conducted to have practical knowledge of the entire Co-operatives
function and main focus on Deposit and Loan section. Furthermore the report consist of
five parts namely chapter one, chapter two, chapter three, chapter four and chapter five.
Chapter one of this thesis report consists of Co-operative Overview, Co-operative in
Nepal and Co-operative helps reduce poverty. Further it also includes Introduction of
Ganesh Multipurpose Co-operative Limited and so on. This report also includes overview
of deposit and loan section as well as if focuses on the subject matters of the study where
customer services analysis, objective of the study, purpose and limitation of the study,
methodology of internship report including sample of data, sources of data etc.
Chapter two of this thesis report includes methodology that includes sources of data with
mainly of two type's viz. primary data and secondary data. With the help of data,
statistical tools are presented and analysis in this part of report.
Chapter three of this thesis report includes functions of the concerned departments. The
department mainly includes deposit section and loan Section. Along with this it includes,
Detail of assigned work responsibilities, problems encountered during fulfilling work
responsibilities and data collection within the organization during internship period.
Chapter four of this thesis report includes analysis of data collected, critical Analysis of
the theoretical concepts relating to practical experiences in the departments and
knowledge Gained from work assigned. Analysis of data is done with the help collected
data in bar graph.
Chapter five of this thesis report includes conclusion, contribution of internship in
knowledge gain, recommendation and suggestions. Recommendations are given for the
organization that seems too important for co-operative.
