2. Explain briefly the relationships of the domains of learning in the holistic

development of the learner.
There are three domains of learning according to Bloom’s Taxonomy. In any given
circumstance, all three domains of learning play a significant role. Teachers are
important in the teaching process because they create and deliver classes. Teachers
must therefore ensure that the three (3) domains of learning, namely cognitive
(thinking), affective (emotions or feelings), and psychomotor (physical or kinesthetic),
are met. The cognitive domain helps to improve an individual's mental abilities and
knowledge acquisition, which includes both lower-ordered thinking skills and
higher-ordered thinking skills. Meanwhile, the affective domain of learning focuses on
students' knowledge of and growth in their attitudes, emotions, and feelings. Affective
domain helps in accepting the situation and responding to it internally. As one of the
principles of teaching and learning, students learn better if if has affected them
emotionally. As for the psychomotor domain, this is really important too, since
involves and helps to show the relationship of the child's body to his/her world. One
principle of learning says that students learn better if they have experience it. Even in
Dale’s cone of experience, doing the real thing is at the base of the cone. The cognitive,
affective and psychomotor domains of learning play undeniable roles in the total
development of a child. Physical growth, as well as intellectual, verbal, emotional, and
social development, are all part of a child's development. Through using all these
domains of learning, students will be able to learn to know, learn to do, learn to be , and
learn to live together.
