Scene Description:
Crime Scene Unit (CSU), PFSA Lahore received a call from Punjab Police, District Lahore at 0910
HRS on 1st of August, 2022 to process the Homicide and Sexual assault scene at house 101, Muhammad Ali
Jinnah street PFSA colony Lahore. Upon arrival at the scene the CSU team obtained background
information from the concerned Police Official present at the scene and conducted an initial walk through.
Crime scene was cordoned off. Family members, Police Officials were present onside the scene area.
However, the scene was intact and secure to process. The incident took place on the ground floor of the
single-storey residential building located in the residential and urban area. Residential house was observed
towards the east side of the incident place. Ground floor was comprised of a garage, a TV lounge, two
bedrooms, a washroom and a kitchen. The incident took place in the south-eastern bedroom. Artifacts of the
said were a bed with two side tables, a wooden almirah and a chair. A male dead body identified as Irfan s/o
Javed aged about 15 years, was observed lying on the bed of south-eastern room. Dead body was observed
lying supine on bed. Deceased was observed partially clothed wearing a shirt only. A black colored trousers
was observed on the bed near to the victim’s body. Deceased was having fair complexion, blue eyes and a
healthy body stature. Dead body was observed apparently in a fresh state. Apparently no injury was
observed except marks on the neck region of the dead body. Muscular stiffness was observed absent. Blood
settling was balanchable. Dead body was warm to touch. One blue colored mask was found on floor
adjacent to the bed of the incident room. No forced entry was observed at the scene.

Scene Processing:
North direction of the crime scene was determined and photographed. The crime scene and dead
body was photographed in overall, mid-range and close-up modes as per procedures. The scene was
documented by taking notes and by drawing rough sketch. The dead body was processed at crime scene.
The dead body was searched, examined and photographed for any probative evidence. Suspected abrasion
injury marks were photographed with and without scale. Nail swabs from both hands of the deceased were
taken. Reference DNA sample (buccal swabs) was taken from the buccal cavity of deceased Irfan s/o Javed.
ALS was used on bedding to search any biological fluid at crime scene. Evidence were marked and
photographed with and without scale. Evidence collected were labelled, packaged, sealed, documented and
handed over to police official as per SOPs. Crime scene was released after ensuring that all possible
relevant information had been gathered and noted.

Evidence Collected:
One hundred and nine (109) photographs of crime scene were taken.
Exhibit # Description
1. One (01) blue colored face mask collected from the floor near bed marked as 1 at crime
scene for DNA Analysis by DNA Department of PFSA.
2. One (01) black colored trousers collected from the bed near dead body marked as 2 at crime
scene for Semen Serology and DNA Analysis by DNA Department of PFSA.
3. Two (02) swabs collected from buccal cavity of victim Irfan s/o Javed at crime scene for
DNA Analysis by DNA Department of PFSA.
4. Two (02) swabs collected from right hand nails of (deceased) Irfan s/o Javed at crime scene
for DNA Analysis by DNA Department of PFSA.

5. Two (02) swabs collected from left hand nails of victim Irfan s/o Javed at crime scene for
DNA Analysis by DNA Department of PFSA.
6. Two (02) swabs collected from neck area of victim Irfan s/o Javed at crime scene for DNA
Analysis (Transfer DNA) by DNA Department of PFSA.

Six (06) exhibits were labeled, packaged, sealed, documented, and handed over to Harris Ahmad
(TSI) at 1120 HRS on the 1st of August, 2022 for further submission and analysis at PFSA.

Scene Assessment/Conclusion:

1. The trousers of the victim Irfan s/o Javed was taken off and lying on the bed next to victim’s dead
body suggested suspected sexual assault before killing the victim.
2. Suspected nail abrasions on the neck region are indicative of manual strangulation.

Note: Final opinion would be as per results obtained from evidence item(s) submitted for analysis to
PFSA.
