Being a Humanborn SUCKS.

A person gets transformed into a dragon suddenly, what do they do? Most people have never seen
dragons before. It would be hard as an 800-pound fire-breathing lizard to go up to someone and ask
them to please call 911. They’d probably do that anyways, but not to help you. And then you gotta try
and hide because the moment someone sees you, you’ve got veritable armies hunting you down.

The organizations of KOSG and ARC exist for the sole purpose of capturing dragons for their own needs.
If you’re stuck by KOSG, then tough luck. You’re not very likely to be killed, but you will be sold off into
slavery for the dragons. Your best bet would be to be sold off into slavery outside of the mines and then
break free, but any dragon with enough money to buy a humanborn slave will have the money to find a
humanborn slave.

How about ARC then? They’re a military company that wants to weaponize you, and you’ve got a pretty
good chance of dying. However, they don’t have as much security on their tunnel, so if you can survive
the escape attempt, you’re free in the dragon world.

So now you’re in a completely new dimension. What do you do? Most dragons just pick a direction and
go there. And when you run into other dragons, the problems only escalate. You see, dragons don’t like
Humanborns either. I don’t think we’d like the idea of our dead coming back to life and being puppeted
around by a… creature from another world. You gotta try and hide it, but a dragon just showing up
naked with no clue what any of the local languages are and with a name that doesn’t sound like a name
any dragon has will cause suspicion.

Let’s say you manage to get yourself adjusted. You pick up some of the language, you get some clothes,
but now people don’t like you. And dragons fight, a lot. You almost can’t go anywhere without someone
trying to beat you bloody for the sin you’ve committed, even though all you did was accidentally find
that dragon’s soul, who’s now stuck in your head for life.

That dragon is also not happy about the situation you’re both in. Most dragons that get reincarnated as
Humanborns have died with unfinished business, and yet they’re forced to take the back seat as
someone else uses their body. Some just get over it. Some hate the humans they’re stuck with.

Either way, what should have been the coolest thing ever, turning into a motherf***ing DRAGON,
instead means that you belong to, and are rejected by, both worlds.

And yet, with each year, as the barriers between the two worlds continue to grow, more Humanborns
are being made. More Humanborns are getting past the filters. Now instead of horrific tales of a
demonic invasion from these dragons’ great grandparents, they’re something they fear running into,
ignorant of the fact that these poor souls are just scared and looking for some safety. And more
Humanborns being created around the world means the organizations devoted to keeping them a secret
will soon no longer be able to.
