"AN ORDER AMENDLNG THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE ADHOC BODY WHICH

SHALL CONDUCT TH INITIAL SCREENING OF POLICE APPLICANTS AND THE
EVALUATION OF DOCUMENTARY REQUIREMENTS AS PROVIDED FOR UNDER
THE NATIONAL POLICE COMMISSION MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 2011-
007"

WHEREAS, the National Police Commission has issued a Memorandum Circular

No. 2007-009 prescribing the procedures and guidelines in the recruitment, selection
and appointment of P01 that would ensure the entry of highly qualified individuals into
the police service and to strengthen the human resource capability of the PNP;

WHEREAS, NAPOLCOM Memorandum Circular No. 2011-007 amended the

composition of the said ad hoc body in order for the Mayor to fully exercise his
authority under the law which provides that the Mayor shall recommend from a list of
eligible personnel previously screened by the peace and order council the appointment
of new members of the PNP to be assigned to their respective cities or municipalities
and for the inclusion of a women representative from a non-government organization;

WHEREAS, there is a need to amend the composition of the members of the Ad

Hoc Body representing each office hereof;

Section 1. Composition. Section 1 of Executive Order No. 44, Series of 2011 is

hereby amended as follows:

Sect on 2. Functions of the Council. The Body created and constituted pursuant
to this Executive Order shall conduct the initial screening of police applicants and the
evaluation of documentary requirements submitted as provided for Under Section IV (C)
of Memorandum Circular No. 2007-09.

Section 3. Repealing Clause. All Executive Orders or issuances inconsistent with

the provisions of this Executive Order are hereby repealed, superseded or modified
accordingly.

Section 4. Effectivity Clause. This Executive Order shall take effect immediately
upon its approval.
