ago 1. When students enter the classroom they will sit in
gy their assigned seat and have a number on their desk.
These numbers will later represent their groups for the
day. As students are sated, they will be welcomed in,
and we will have a verbal discussion on healthy food
and ac vi es. Students will have the opportunity to
raise their hand and name one for each category.
2. A er our recap, we will begin todays main lesson. On
the white board, I will have slides that present healthy/
unhealthy foods and ac vi es. One at a me, I will have
the groups stand up and approach the white board. On
the board, there will be a picture of a healthy food and
unhealthy food or a healthy ac vity and an unhealthy
ac vity. Students will need to discuss with their group
which op on is the healthier op on, and then circle
that op on on the white board. There will be enough
slides for each group to go once. Students will also be
encouraged to be interac ve even if it is not their turn,
or they have already gone.
3. Following this lesson we will wrap up and talk about
why healthy foods are be er op ons and what bene ts
healthy ac vi es can do for us.
