All Administrators of Municipal Committees, Town Committees and Tehsil Couneils in the Punjab, Subject: DEVISE_A_MECHANISM TO STREAMLINE THE PAY/ SALARY OF CONTINGENT STAFF Please refer to the subject cited above. 2 J am directed to inform that the local governments are being allowed to hire the services of daily wage Sanitary Workers / Sewermen for a period of 30 days or 89 days. Therefore, it has come to the notice of the Competent Authority that no proper mechanism has been devised regarding employees contingent staff/ daily wages. 3. It is, therefore, requested to ensure that there would be no ghost employee in the local governments and their salaries must be paid through Bank Accounts and not in cash. 4 Further directed to request you to furnish a certificate in this regard duly signed and stamped by the Administrators of the local governments concerned that there is no ghost employes in the local governments and salaries of all the contingent! hired staff with the prior approval of the Government are being paid through the Bank Accounts pL, SECTION oFFiced (dasn.) 1.
