PREAMBLE
- This section shall be read in conjunction with parts of (the MG Technical Specifications
General and Particular) and the mech-MG DWG except where otherwise indicated.
- All medical gas products MUST be European made by well-known companies that conform
with HTM-02-01standards.
- The unit price for all items in this section shall inclusive of supply, installation, selection,
operation (commissioning) works and all other luxurious, accessories, appended and
required. Therefore, the item will be fully inclusive, ready for use, with all its requirements,
materials, civil works, forming or cutting holes, chases, channels... etc in concrete structures
and block/stone walls, making good, and execution methods which the supervising engineer
will demand, so as the item will become finally completed.
- The work in this section shall include the rate of carefully dismantle all existing medical

gases fixtures serving existing spaces, work includes but is not limited to: dismantling bed
head units, gases outlets, control panels, gases networks including pipes and fittings, all
existing cables and connections to electrical power supply, and all existing system
accessories with closing any cores/openings in the existing walls with proper finishing
materials to match the existing in accordance the unops engineer's instructions and all
dismantled items shall be handled to the health facility management team/storage and
subject to the approval of the health facility operator.
- In the event any item is not mentioned in this section and it is necessary or complementary
of the work of another item already mentioned in the table of quantities, it is the contractor’s
responsibility to provide all items without any additional cost.

4.1 Primary and Secondary Automatic Oxygen Manifold :

Supply, lift into position, install, test, set to work, and commission fully automatic oxygen
manifold. Outlet nominal pressure 5 bar , 2x16 consists of two banks right and left each one

4.8 Copper Piping:

with all connections, fittings, hangers and supports, and identification colors all as specified
