PUNE DISTRICT SELECTION CHESS TOURNAMENTS

UNDER-11 & Under-13 OPEN AND GIRLS
VENUE- Symbiosis Sports Centre , Prabhat Road Lane 15, Pune -4 ( Near Symbiosis School )
ELIGIBILITY – a) Only Indian Passport holder Players can participate in the tournament
b) Boys and Girls from Pune District only can participate in the tournament.

c) AICF (All India Chess Federation) Registration for 2022-23 is compulsory for every player.
Age Group Criteria- 1) For Under-11 (Born on or after 01-01-2011 can participate in the tournament)
2) For Under-13 (Born on or after 01-01-2009 can participate in the tournament)
DATES OF TOURNAMENT – 1) Under -11, on Saturday, 6th August 2022
2) Under-13 on Sunday, 7th August 2022
TIME CONTROL - 25 minutes and 5 second increment from first Move. Walkover time -25 mins
. NO OF ROUNDS - Maximum 7 Rounds

TOTAL PRIZE FUND RS. 14,000/-

Prizes for every age group Boys and Girls.
1 st Prize Rs.1500/- 2 nd Prize Rs. 1,000/- 3 rd Prize Rs. 500/- 4th Prize Rs.500/- 5th & 6th Memento

Entry Fee Rs. 300/-

GPay / Phone Pay or Paytm to A/C NO 051410210000070 ( By using ‘A/c No’ option in the App.)

After depositing entry fee; send the screen shot of payment with Details of player

Max 160 Entries will be accepted in each group on first come first serve basis
(Entries will be closed on 4th AUGUST 2022 at 6.00 pm)
 Instructions to the players
: Boys and Girls will play in separate groups.
: Latest FIDE rules will apply.
: Tournament is rapid and will be played in Swiss Format.
: In case of any disputes during the tournament Chief Arbiter’s decision will be final & binding on all.
: Mobiles are strictly not allowed in the playing area.
Electronic devices including normal wrist watches are not allowed during the round, If found on body, loss will
be given to the particular player.
: If required; age proof will have to be produced at the time of the tournament.
: Parents and coaches are not allowed in the playing area during the game.
: Certificate of participation will be issued at the venue after the prize distribution
: A player can participate in more than one group.
: Entries will be uploaded on chess-results.com every day at 10 pm

SELECTIONS
1) FIRST TWO Boys and TWO Girls will be selected to Participate in Maharashtra state chess selection
tournament 2022 , in respective group.
. FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO DISTRICT SELECTED PLAYERS,FOR STATE SELECTION CHESS TOURNAMENT
District selected players will be provided Rs. 2000/- each , to participate In the Maharashtra State
Selection tournament, after completion of the State Tournament.
