Honey Garlic Turkey Bowls

Honey Garlic Turkey Bowls made from ground turkey mixed with garlicky green
beans and tossed in an Asian inspired sauce. This dish is served with a side of mixed vegetables
and rice.

Ingredients
For the Rice
5.25 cups cooked rice

For the Vegetables


1.4 medium sweet onion
1.4 medium red pepper
1.4 small zucchini
1.4 tbsp olive oil
salt and pepper to taste

For the Turkey


2.1 lbs ground turkey (93/7)
8.4 oz green beans
1.4 tbsp garlic minced
1.4 tbsp honey
2.8 tsp sriracha
3.5 tbsp chicken stock
1.4 tbsp soy sauce
1.4 tbsp olive oil
salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
For the Rice
1. Cook enough rice to have 5.25 cups of cooked rice. 1 cup of uncooked rice will yield around 3
cups of cooked rice.

For the Vegetables


1. Wash and cut your red pepper and zucchini into a large dice. Cut your sweet onion into a large
dice as well.
2. Cut your green beans into small pieces, about ¼" in length.
3. In a large skillet, heat some olive oil over medium high heat.
4. Add the onion first and cook for 2-3 minutes then make some room and add in the red
peppers and zucchini. Cook until soft and remove from the pan. Season with salt and pepper
to taste.

For the Turkey


1. Heat some olive oil over medium high heat. Add in the ground turkey and cook until browned.
2. In another skillet over medium high heat, add a bit of oil and the green beans. Cook for 4-5
minutes so that they can develop color. Add in 1.4 tbsp of minced garlic and cook an
additional 2-3 minutes and season with salt to taste. Be sure not to burn the garlic.
3. Combine the turkey and green beans in one skillet. Add in 1.4 Tbsp of honey, 3.5 Tbsp
chicken stock, 2.8 tsp sriracha, and 1.4 tbsp soy sauce. Stir to incorporate and season with
salt and pepper to taste.

Plating
1. This recipe makes 7 servings. Add ¾ cup of cooked rice and to each container and divide the
remaining ingredients equally.
