TEACHER REGULATIONS
FOR ALL SAS TEACHERS

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Have professional manners and appearances


2. Be respectful to students as your friends, and respect all staffs as yourself
3. Have full responsible for courses which are assigned to you:
a. Be present in class at least 5 minutes before the class starts and End the session no
later than 10 minutes (to avoid parking traffic)
b. Following the provided Syllabus from Teacher department, to make sure there would
not be any repeating lessons between different levels
c. Select a monitor (class leader) in each of your class
d. Arrange at least 2 out-door lessons for each class, per month (during regular class’s
hours), for students to get comfortable using English outside classroom
4. Having habit of signing CERTIFIED TEACHER SCHEDULE before starting classes, if
not the salary of those sessions will not be counted at the end of the month
5. Check the Online Attendant List during/ right after every class
6. 24 hours notice to the Campus Manager for payment in advance, maximum is 2.000.000

7. Attend teacher meeting
8. Dress code in class:
 Male: Pants – Shirt and Tie – Teacher name tag – Office shoes
 Female: Office dress/ suit + Teacher name tag – Office shoes
9. Keep yourself up-to-date, be flexible, and creative in each individual lesson
10. 4 teen Teachers: maintain classroom accessories carefully during and after each class
11. Inform the office at least 12 hours ahead if you cannot come to class
12. Inform the teacher department 72 hours ahead when you need to cancel an on-going class
13. 30 days notice on resignation for all teachers
SALARIES

1. TEACHER SALARY RAISE CRITERIA

- Salary rate will be updated every April, July, October


- Available to work for SAS full time (at least 4 shifts)
- Do some cover classes when needed
- Attend Club at least 4 times and tour at least once
- Attend SAS Event
- Do not cancel class within 12 hours before class
- Have lesson plan for every class with clear objective
- Performance on classes, with be assessed by students’ feedback
- Professional image in class will be a must
2. RETURN TO STARTING SALARY RATE WHEN

- Available for SAS for only part time position


- 1 day off without notice
- 2 days off without notice – return to part time position
- We will help you when we receive some negative feedbacks for the first time, but
repeated complaint will reduce your salary rate and the number of classes

DAYS OFF

2. For urgent cases, we will try to help you 1 day per month. The second time canceling
classes urgently will get you a fine of 200.000vnd. From the third time, each class will
cost you 500.000vnd, and also return your pay rate to the starting rate.
COVER CLASSES

1. Covering classes from other teacher is one of your responsibilities. It also helps you
increase your salary rate in the next 6 months
2. When you cover any classes, please fill in the form here. It will help you get the salary at
the campus where you work.

CLASSES AND CAMPUSES

1. Cooperate with the staff, they get more students, you get more classes
2. For new teacher, the campus will offer from 1 – 2 classes for the first two months. We
need to check the feedback and improvements from students
3. Your campuses will report all of your feedbacks to teacher department every month.
4. When you need help or support about classes, contact the campus manager.
5. Due to both objective and subjective reasons, campus may cancel your class if the
number of students is less than 8
6. Also, they may ask you to end the class earlier so that they can easily arrange for you
new class schedule

VIOLATION FINES

1. Dress code: 100,000vnd / time – Second time continuously: 10% deduction from total
salary
2. Late for work: 10% deduction of total salary
3. Cancel any on-going class without 72 hours notification: 50% deduction of total salary
4. For 30 days notice on Resignation - failing to inform the Teacher department as required:
100% deduction of total salary
5. Consulting students at SAS to study at another school/ center is prohibited.
6. For any other violations, the BOD could take further actions
