 Các đại từ sở hữu đa phần sẽ giống tính từ sở hữu thêm đuôi s
 her vừa làm tính từ sở hữu vừa làm tân ngữ
 his vừa làm tính từ sở hữu vừa làm đại từ sở hữu
 phản thân sẽ có đuôi self hoặc đuôi selves

1. Đại từ chủ ngữ

- đứng ở đầu câu và đứng trước V chính của câu.
- lưu ý: S ko đứng sau V hoặc giới từ

He has lived here for 3 years.

I went to the park.

 Ta chọn đáp án là S khi sau chỗ trống là V chính của mệnh đề (ko chọn S nếu trước chỗ trống là
V hoặc giới từ)

2. Đại từ tân ngữ

- đứng sau V chỉ đối tượng khác bị V tác động lên.
They asked me for money.
She gave us a picture as a wedding present.

- đứng sau giới từ để tạo thành cụm giới từ bổ nghĩa cho câu.
We talked to her about the president’s decision
She is sick. I went to buy medicine for her
 Ta chọn đáp án là tân ngữ khi trước chỗ trống là V hoặc giới từ)

3. Tính từ sở hữu
- đứng đầu cụm N
He has lost his dog
She changed her mind

 Ta chọn đáp án là tính từ sở hữu khi sau chỗ trống là N hoặc cụm N

4. Đại từ sở hữu
- dùng để thay thế cho N được nhắc đến đằng trước khỏi bị lặp lại, và N được thay thế này nó khác sự
sở hữu với N đứng ở trước nó.
- đại từ sở hữu = tính từ sở hữu tương ứng + N = cụm N

That is Tom’s room. This is our room = This is ours.

Her handbag is much more expensive than mine.
Their house is large but ours is small.

=> ta chọn đại từ sở hữu khi ta dịch nghĩa chỗ trống thay thế N được nhắc phía trước, và N đó khác với
sự sở hữu N đứng ở trước nó.

5. Đại từ phản thân

- đứng sau V và chỉ S tự tác động lên chính mình.

Phân biệt phản thân và tân ngữ khi trước chỗ trống là V.
B1: Xác định V đứng ngay đằng trước chỗ trống và S của V đó.
B2: So sánh S đó và chỗ trống xem có phải là 1 người ko?
Khác nhau => chọn tân ngữ
Giống nhau => chọn phản thân

- đứng sau S hoặc đứng cuối mệnh đề dùng để nhấn mạnh cho S tự mình làm gì.

- đứng sau giới từ by chỉ S làm gì một mình, ko cần ai giúp ~ alone
The little girl can walk by herself.
John washed the dishes by himself.

- đứng sau giới từ chỉ S tự tác động vào chính mình.

He spoke to himself.
They had to cook for themselves.
She bought a present for herself.

 Làm dạng bài này nên nhìn đằng sau chỗ trống trước xem nó là từ loại gì để loại trừ đáp
án, rồi mới nhìn đằng trước chỗ trống sau.
Sau giới từ by hay chọn phản thân: làm gì đó một mình

on + tính từ sở hữu + own: làm gì một mình

of + tính từ sở hữu + own: nhấn mạnh sử sở hữu của ai đó
