 Organized first ever Faculty Development Programme in Operations Management for the Society of

 Conferred membership of Alpha Pi Mu (U.S. Industrial Engineering Honor Society), 1989
 Selected and served as National Expert for India for the Asian Productivity Organisation (APO) Survey
on Wages, Incentives & Productivity Linkages, 1992-93
 Faculty Advisor of IIM Lucknow student team declared one of the 3 national winners of the “We
Think for India” Society’s Manufacturing Policy competition conducted during 2002-03. The team
was honoured with the trophy and citation by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Atal Bihari
Vajpayee, in a function at the PM’s residence in New Delhi on 24th May 2003.
 Conferred Lifetime Contribution Award by Society of Operations Management in December 2012.
 Six times recipient of “Best Faculty Award” from PGP students of IIM Lucknow, and conferred
Lifetime Achievement Award in March 2018.
