CTA Workers & Riders Protest at 95th Terminal

Coworkers in bus and rail operations,
maintainence and passengers united at 95th
Red Line Terminal to publicly demand a fair
Contract, hazard pay and more on February
23rd at 11 am.
For over a year, coworkers have been falling
sick and dying. Their families and communities
continue to suffer. Our union presidents have
been practically silent. So members have stepped
up to do what some of our elected leaders are
scared of doing: PROTEST!
Public transportation workers in Philadelphia,
who are part of the Local 234 Forward caucus,
declared their own Hour of Power solidarity
protest at the same time and day. It is very
important for workers in different cities, states
and countries to support each other when they
demonstrate. That is called “solidarity.”
