IMPACT OF INTERVENTION FOR THE LEAST MASTERED SKILLS IN ENGLISH

1st Quarter Assessment Test - GRADE II

After the First Quarter Assessment Test in English, we take note of the least
mastered skills and we made some interventions to enrich their knowledge on the least
mastered competencies. This intervention tends to reteach the competencies which are not
so clear to the learners to help them gain mastery of the skills. We provide some activities
that reinforce the content of the lessons.

Since we are in the new normal settings, we should consider what applicable or
appropriate interventions are suited for them. We should take into consideration who among
them have gadgets, have internet access, have parents or guardians who will assist them.
Likewise, we should give them activities that are short, simple and enjoyable.

Based on the result of the interventions done, it shows that it is effective and
necessary in improving the least mastered skills of pupils because it focuses only on the
particular competencies intended for remediation. The interventions helped the teachers
address the needs of pupils and contributed to better learning and understanding of the
least mastered skills among our pupils in English subject.

enrichment activities for each least learned skill.
