Nowadays, many schools offer activities in sports as part of the curriculum for

students to practice. Conversely, other schools disagree and believe it is unneeded.

Now, I am going to look at both of them before showing my opinion.
On the one hand, people believe it is a vital part of education, and playing sports
will teach valuable life skills and provide several health advantages. First, sports
improve people's health, particularly teens. Playing sports, for example, helps
people build their bones, improve blood circulation, and avoid diabetes. They also
aid in sleep, stress reduction, and depression prevention. In addition, sports enable
people to concentrate efficiently and work more efficiently. Athletes, who focus
well, for example, make good decisions within a competitive environment and
develop self-confidence. By focusing well, an athlete takes in the information
necessary to make good decisions, such as responding to an opponent or adapting
to the environment.
On the other hand, others claim that having sport as a school subject is
unnecessary. Playing sports at school is not essential and wastes time because they
believe students should focus more on studying skills such as math or reading.
Moreover, they reckon their children may get injured or have broken bones while
playing sports, so they strongly disagree.
In conclusion, both having sports at school or not have a reason. In my opinion,
schools should add sports as a subject at school, moreover, also organize more
activities and competitions. That will make students strong, active and feel excited
when playing sports.
