1. How did you come up with your proposal?

- I’ve come up with this study by focusing land and water since, that will be my
major, and also It gives me interest since it is relevant today’s problem about
wastewater that affects the sustainable development goals of Clean water and
sanitation. And it is new. Some researches I have found are all about rivers
which are not the root cause of the problem.

2. Who will be your target beneficiary?

- First beneficiary will be the owner of the banana plantation, it will be benefit for
them to use my research as their compared study about water quality guidelines
to their wastewater, and it will be easy for them to build research technology that
will reuse their wastewater.

- Second beneficiary will be the communities residing near the plantation although
the project benefited both the owner and the residence, the research reported
that the study about wastewater quality and its reuse potential will be more
significant in daily basis.

- Third beneficiary will be the environment, to avoid contamination and destruction

of natural habitats and the wildlife that live in those habitats by exposing them to
harmful chemicals that would otherwise not be present over the natural course of
things.

3. Possible downside of the study?

- Unavailability of resources, small sample size, flawed methodology, etc.

- It is all about evaluating the wastewater quality from the banana plantation for
reuse potential

5. What is your motivation for this study?

- To help find solutions about the wastewater from the plantation which is part of
the agricultural sector and help to sustain water availability in the country

6. How will this study contribute to the body of knowledge?

- It will contribute since my study is relevant in today’s problem and the world is
evolving today coupled with rapid growth in technology yet, still have no
significant solution. For example, if we based only on the treated wastewater
without studying the quality on it, no current work to show what are the present
problem on the wastewater in the plantation.

7. What is the significance of the study?

- This research is of great significance in the field of (Agriculture and environment)

because it is essential in order to be able to undertake the treatment-type
selection step, and its subsequent design, with a guarantee of success.

- In these COVID-19 times, it is demonstrated that research on water and

wastewater is very relevant today. Both applied and basic research are needed.
For example, the detection of viruses in wastewater, which might have seen a
minor issue before, has now become a hot topic to be used among other
applications as an early warning system. Basic research is therefore clearly
needed. Topics that at first sight may seem irrelevant can soon become
important.
