Mr. Chris Light, our Managing Director
who has over 25 years of Powered Access

Powered Access rental operations across
the Middle East.

Whilst operating from Dubai we also

provide operations in Abu Dhabi and serve

IPAF International Powered
Access Federation is the internationally
recognized standard for training on
powered access equipment.
We are a licensed IPAF Training Center that has
one of the most experienced powered access training
teams in the Middle East, offering highly effective
courses for powered access operators. A course that
quickly enables operators to save time and understand
how to operate powered access safely.

IPAF COURSES
Two basic types of training:
Operator Training
A mix of theory and practical training, this course is
designed to enable operators to maneuver, drive and
position machine safely and proficiently.
Demonstrator Training
Includes a test on legal requirements and provides delegates
with the skills to familiarize operators with their
responsibilities and demonstrate safe operating procedures.

ARG Pointers For Your MEWP (Mobile Elevating Work Platform)
WORKING HEIGHT ...
Relate to the measurement from ground level to maximum
1 platform height, plus an extra 2 meters.

REQUIRED OUTREACH ...

Outreach relates to measurement from the centre of the
2 turret plus an extra 5cm, on fully extended boom.

CARRYING WEIGHT ...

Always check the safe working load of the machine before
operating. Calculate the weight of the operator (average
3 male 85kg) plus tools and compare the total to the
machine’s SWL.

GROUND CONDITIONS ...

Working on a gradient, wet or rough terrain will affect the
choice of equipment. We recommend that you discuss this
4 with our Hire Desk Controller or Account Manager.

WORKING INSIDE ...

When working indoors we recommend electrically powered
machines. Remember to measure any doors through which
5 the machine may have to maneuver.

WHICH OPERATOR...
All ARG machines can be self-operated. If your operator
does not hold a recognized license then ask about training.
