Awards 2019
The National STEM Movement has been championing the STEM
Mentor-Mentee Program to promote greater interest and capacity
building in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics
amongst students.
In recognition of the efforts, contributions and accomplishments
of Institutions of Higher Learning and Schools that have
participated in the STEM Mentor-Mentee Programs, the National
STEM Movement will be conferring the STEM Mentor-Mentee
Awards 2019 at Malaysia technology Expo 2019 .
Prizes
• Gold, Silver and Bronze medals and Certificates will be
awarded to all winners of the STEM Mentor-Mentee
Awards 2019.
• Special Awards
Objectives of the Awards
• To recognize the efforts of Institutions of higher learning,
industries, schools, facilitators, mentors and mentees.
• To showcase successful Mentor-Mentee programs to
other Institutions of higher learning, industries, schools,
student, parents and public.
• To facilitate the adoption of good and effective
Mentor-Mentee Programs by Institutions of higher
learning and schools.

National STEM Movement introduced STEM Teaching Innovation
Awards. The goal of the award is to honor teachers and lecturers
who are enhancing students achievements, increasing interest in
STEM, making a significant difference in the line of students by
providing excellent interdisciplinary curricular, problem solving,
encouraging lifelong, learning and inspiring a passion for STEM
beyond the classification and into future career.

This award is open only to those Inventions and Innovations exhibiting in Malaysia Technology Expo (MTE) 2019. Please refer to

• All entries must be submitted online by 14 January 2019.
• Please access the online awards management system through our website www.mte.org.my. For assistance, you may email to :

• All entries (participants) will showcase their projects at MTE 2018 which will be held at PWTC, Kuala Lumpur from 21 -23 February 2019.
• Judging will be held on 21- 23 February 2019 between 10 am - 5pm.
• Presentation of prizes on 23 Feb2019.
• The decisions of the judges are final. Any complaints will not be entertained.
