Geopearl® C Crystal SFT range
Due to the use of a new innovative technology, named SFT, GEOTECH is capable to offer coarse synthetic pearlescent
pigments with a very narrow particle size distribution, approaching a traditional glitter effect. The process creates a
glittering pigment with up to 98% of the particles < 150 micron. This lets formulators create safe eye products with
environmental friendly sparkling effects. The SFT grade is also suitable for aerosol applications. Research shows that
the particles do not block the nozzle of the spraycans.

General formulation do’s and don’ts

Water- or solvent based formulations

Geopearl® C Crystal special effect pigment are suitable for water and solvent based formulations.

Grinding
Geopearl® C Crystal special effect pigments disperse well without grinding. They can be added to
the powder system while stirring after milling of the organic / inorganic pigments and before the
binder is added.

UV stability
Geopearl® C Crystal special effect pigments with cosmetic colourants can be sensitive to UV light.

Temperature resistance
Geopearl® C Crystal pearlescent pigments are high temperature resistant.

Storage
Opened bags should be stored under dry conditions to avoid the influence of moisture.
