1. Video Art
Using the concept of moving pictures, video art is a medium that can either accent other forms of art or
stand by itself in installations at galleries. The designs use video presentations that can be combined with
audio if that artist so desires. Although the concept generally takes a similar form as television
presentations or experimental film making, it is considered a distinct art form more aligned with painting
and photography. William Kentridge, Sue de Beer, and Sam Taylor-Johnson are three of the most well-
known video artists.

2. Word Art
Word art or text art is a form of art that includes text,
forming words or phrases, as its main component; it is a combination of language and visual imagery. It
uses words or phrases because of their ideological meaning, their status as an icon, or their use in well-
known advertising slogans; in this type, the content is of paramount importance, and is seen in some of the
work of Barbara Kruger, On Kawara and Jenny Holzer's projection artwork called "For the City" (2005) in
Manhattan.

3. Graffiti Art
Graffiti art as a term refers to images or text painted usually onto buildings, typically using spray paint .
Graffiti art has its origins in 1970s New York, when young people began to use spray paint and other
materials to create images on buildings and on the sides of subway trains. Such graffiti can range from
bright graphic images (wildstyle) to the stylised monogram (tag). Graffiti as such is rarely seen in galleries
and museums, yet its aesthetic has been incorporated into artists’ work. Early exponents of graffiti in art
included the French artist Jean Dubuffet who incorporated tags and graphic motifs into his paintings, and
the New York artists Jean-Michel Basquiat and Keith Haring who could be defined as street art pioneers.

4. Body Art
The term "Body art" describes a type of contemporary art, in which the artist's own body becomes the
"canvas" or "artwork". Although closely related to conceptual art and performance art, Body art embraces
a wide range of disciplines, including: Body-Painting; Tattoo art; Face-Painting; Nail art; Piercings; Make-up;
Mime and Living Statues; and Photography. Sometimes it is made in private and then displayed in photos
or video recordings; sometimes it is created 'live' in front of an audience.

5. Collage
A collage is a form of visual arts in which visual elements are combined to create a new image that conveys
a message or idea. Collage comes from the French word “collér,” which means “to glue,” often the primary
means of combining images in collage art. Collagers can draw these images from newspaper clippings or
print advertisements, or cull them from different materials, like photographs, fabric, wood, and even
ephemera. Collagers can apply the images to the surface of another work of art, such as a canvas, to create
a new single image.

Writing a Character Sketch

A 26-year-old artist from Binmaley, Pangasinan took home the top prize in the prestigious
Maningning Miclat Art Awards 2018 with her milkfish-bone-based artwork. Jessica Lopez gathered fish
bones from Dagupan City milkfish deboners and arranged them on a 48 × 36 inch board with a black
background. The 'Motion of Life' encapsulates the very essence of life. "We must endure and persevere no
matter how difficult life is," she said in an interview on Friday. "I've been known as 'Lady Fishbone' since
then," Lopez, now a mother of a four-year-old, said.

She was a slim woman with a long neck, pale brown skin, a small face with defined features, a lot
of pretty gentle and long black hair, and contemplative dark brown eyes with obvious eye bags. She had a
wary expression that could transform into an amused friendliness smile when he felt relaxed or joyful,
which was not frequently in these trying times. She's attractive in a flawed, approachable manner. Lopez
has had an affinity for the arts since she was a child, winning numerous competitions in poster-making,
literary graphic design, and painting. However, she began focusing on artworks made from fish bones in
2014, in which she expresses her emotions and concepts through conceptualism, abstraction, and mixed
media.

Her profession has given her additional inspiration, but Lopez said she often focused on her career
while raising her 4-year-old son, which provided her with desire and tenacity to achieve her goals. Her
determination to complete a task no matter how difficult or time consuming it is, as well as her willingness
to accept and learn from failure is the reason she learned patience. To unwind and enjoy your life and
relationships, as well as to appreciate the beauty of each moment. To be self-assured, resolute, and
intelligent in one's approach to life. She believes that patience is required in the creation of art, and that
patience leads to wisdom and success. She speaks softly and elegantly, but because she is ilocano, her
pronunciation is a little rough. Overall, she is a creative individual who is driven to achieve her goals. She
serves as an excellent role model for young artists and to those who yearn to realize their ambitions.
