VOLCANIC ERUPTION

A Volcano is a rupture in the crust of a planetary-mass object, such

as Earth, that allows hot lava, volcanic ash, and gases to escape from
a magma chamber below the surface.
A Volcanic Eruption is when lava and gas are released from a
volcano, sometimes explosively.

A VOLCANO is produced over thousands of years as heat a pressure

build up. That aspect of a volcano is very difficult to recreate in a
home experiment. However this volcano will give you an idea of
what it might look like when a volcano erupts flowing lava. This is a
classic experiment in which a CHEMICAL reaction can create the
appearance of a PHYSICAL volcano eruption.
WHAT WE NEED:
●A Volcano; we can make it out off paper or plaster or clay, in hurry
can be made of mound of dirt.
●A small size container or old small size bottles .
●Baking soda (NaHCO3)
●Liquid Dishwasher
●Vinegar
●Red and yellow food coloring(optional)

WHAT TO DO:
Place the prepared model of Volcano on plane surface. Place the
Container into volcano at the top, add two spoonful of Baking soda
into the container, then add a spoonful of Liquid Dishwasher and
add about 5 drops each of Food colorings to it.
Now the Eruption:
Add a 30ml of Vinegar into the container,
then the reaction causes the liquid erupt like real volcano comes true.

We can also add the vinegar with more temperature for better erupts
and the quantity of the chemicals should be according to the size of
demonstration.
