a. What is the effect of the moonlight on different objects and creatures?
(Hints: trees, fruits appear silver, windows and roofs are covered with silver beam,
dog’s paws appear silver, birds with white feathers appear silver, claws and eyes
of the harvest mouse also shine, reeds and streams appear silver)
b. Do you feel that there really exist silver trees and fruits? Why does the poet call
them so?
(Hints: no...it’s imaginary, does not exist in reality, they appear silver, due to the effect of
moonlight poet calls it silver, uses imagery as a literary technique)
