NSP Epoxy 7'6" X 21 5/8" X 2 7/8" = 55L

Olaian 100 Mousse 8" = 75L

+/- 2L
My estimated volume is 38,18L / Surf Simply = 47L mini
Mes mesures : 5’8 and 160lbs

2nd hand price : The bigger the name brand, the more you spend up
front but the easier it is to sell and they hold their value well.

Shop used SurfTech boards (Tuflite construction) for something

durable that provides a little extra volume. Sounds like perfect waves for
a fish. Something in the 6'6"-6'10" range. Try to keep the same volume
as the board you're riding right now, in the shorter length and fish
shape that volume will distribute nicely. I like older Mark Richards,
McCoy, McTavish,  Randy French SurfTech boards (soul fish, flying fish,
nugget) in that shape/size. Those boards should be easier to find used
around the world. I would also invest in a good set of Keel Fins and
Quad Fins to give you more versatility in the different wave conditions.
Quads work better for speed control + agility in faster waves. The keels
work like a charm in slower waves for building speed and getting bigger
turns. And it depends on if you're riding Futures or FCS.
Futures Machado Keel: https://eu.futuresfins.com/fr/shop/170-futures-

twin-fins
Même si future c'est mieux, je te préconise des dérives compatibles FCS
plus courantes, sauf pour un fish monté avec des keels (où FCS à ces
limites).

If you feel like trying something different, the Donald Takayama

Scorpion is amazing. It can handle almost all conditions and fin setups,
and even lets you get some toes on the noes.

First shortboard = Good daily driver:

 Rocker: Rocker is the curve in the front and back of a surfboard,
named after the wedges on the bottom of a rocking chair. Boards
with more rocker in the front are for steep powerful waves, while
boards with lower rocker are for small/medium moderately powered
waves. Lower rockered boards will help with mushy waves and
allow you to surf in a wider range of conditions. Daily drivers have
mid to low entry rockers
 Length and width: High-performance shortboards (HPSB's) are
longer and skinnier and for waves that the Pros surf. Chances are,
aside from Winter, you won't be surfing conditions that require a
HPSB. Daily drivers are surfboards that are around your
height in length (or shorter) and wider than a HPSB. Width (and
thickness) is particularly important in daily drivers because it gives
you a more stable platform to stand on, meaning that wider boards
tend to be more user friendly. Thickness gives your board more
buoyancy and helps you get into waves earlier
 Wave ranges your board will be best in: Think about conditions that
your local breaks will be 90% of the year. Chances are conditions
where you live will not be 5-12ft. Most likely they'll be between 1ft
and 6ft for most of the year. Find a board that excels in knee to
head high surf (1-6ft). Shapers will specify if a board model is
made for that range of conditions
 Glassing: Boards can be extremely lightly glassed (pros like it
because it's like driving a sports car for them. The caveat being
their boards are dinged really easily), standard glassed (most
intermediate surfers like it just because it's the average. Depending
on the glasser, the boards can be dented easily or pretty sturdy. it's
really a crap shoot) or heavily glassed (Heavier glassing reinforces
the board and makes it harder to dent. The caveat is that the board
is slightly less sensitive). Consider a board with standard or
heavier glassing in order to give your board longevity and
save you from spending money on repairs
