About NSVSoft:

In this day and age, time management plays a key role in every aspects of our lives.
However, when it comes to save lives and properties against fire, efficiency along with
time management should be taken into account. While the reliability of the fire protection
systems is dependent to systematic accurate designs based on available codes and
standards, lack of a comprehensive software to cover all these scattered information and
various parameters affecting on design, cannot be denied. This is where our professionals
step in.

Integrating intelligent experts from the field of fire protection design with in-depth
experience and knowledge of our highly qualified engineers, a team of exceptional
talents with high-performance work is gathered to develop a state-of-the-art software for
designing fire protection systems.

Our team members have passed several courses held by National Fire Protection
Association (NFPA), Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE), and National Fire Sprinkler
Association (NFSA) of USA with great honors, obtaining the following certificates:

- Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS) by NFPA and ANSI

- Certified Water-based Systems Professional (CWBSP) by NFPA

- Certified Sprinkler ITM Specialist (CSITMS) by NFPA

- Advanced Sprinkler Design for Engineers by SFPE

- Hydraulics for Fire Protection by NFSA

We have provided a user-friendly software by studying associated codes and standards

as well as considering every possible points. The software allows users to conduct the fire
protection system design timely and with the highest possible efficiency and covers the
full range from designing the system for a small garage up to warehouses and high-rise
buildings.
Sprinkler Module:
The NFPA13 is one of the most comprehensive and detailed fire protection standards
and based on its nature, it makes finding and following the design requirement
complicated.

The design requirements such as type of applicable sprinklers, Area of coverage and
spacing, Design area, number of design sprinklers, Density, Flow rate, minimum operating
pressure, hose stream allowance and Duration, depends on many parameters like the
classification of occupancies and commodities, packing material, type of storage, the
height of storage and ceiling and etc.

Although there are many useful Hydraulic Calculation software in the market for doing
calculations, but it should be noted that these software will only be helpful when input
data are correct. Finding the valid input for these software is a hard and time-consuming
process.

Sprinkler systems module of Fire Protection Design Software is a tool for accessing the
design requirement with an easy and quick process.

Benefits:
1- User-Friendly software

One of the easiest software with no need to tutorial, Just Run & Click!

2- Accurate and Reliable Results

Prepared by NFPA certified team with many years of experience in the field of fire
protection!

3- Access to design criteria quickly

Finding the design requirements in less than a minute!

4- NFPA 13 Reference

Indicating the sources of any items that are shown in the “Design Criteria” window.

5- Delivering complete related data to design sprinkler systems

In addition to the design criteria, the software provides all information needed to design
the sprinkler systems correctly.

6- Graphical Icons

With more than hundreds Icons for helping users to select options easily and accurately.
How to use the software:
For example, assume the following data:
- Type of Storage: Palletized
- Commodity: Cartoned Unexpanded Group A Plastic
- Applicable Sprinkler Type: CMSA
- Storage Height: 25 ft
- Ceiling Height: 30 ft
- Construction Type: Noncombustible

For designing sprinkler systems, we have to find the following criteria:

- Number of Design Options: …….
- Permitted Systems Type (Wet, Dry or Preaction): …….
- K Factor and Orientation of Sprinkler: …….
- Maximum and Minimum Protection Area of Sprinkler: …….
- Maximum and Minimum Sprinkler spacing: …….
- Number of Design Sprinklers: …….
- Minimum of Operating Pressure: …….
- Hose Stream Allowance: …….
- Duration: …….
1- Click the Run

2- Click on “Storage”
3- Click on “Palletized”

4- Click on “Plastic Group A”

5- Click on “CMSA”

6- Click on “Cartoned”
7- Click on “Unexpanded”

8- Click on “storage Height: 25 ft & Ceiling Height: 30 ft “

9- Click on “Noncombustible”
Results:
1- Design Criteria:

As it shows in this page, there are two design options according to NFPA 13 for the
assumed conditions.

The Designer can choose “Upright K-16.8” or “Pendent K-19.6” CMSA Sprinklers and
depends on these types of sprinkler, related design requirements would be
applicable.

In all pages, selected items in previous windows are shown in the left panel, user
can click on each item to return the same page and choose other options to
evaluate.
2- More Info and Help:

Additional explanation shows by clicking on the “More info and Help” in the
“Design Criteria” window.

In this page, the user finds other related articles and helpful notes for designing
sprinkler systems according to the selected items.
3- References:

All the references from NFPA 13 for the items in “Design Criteria” window are shown
here.
This option is helpful for submitting design documents to AHJ.
