5.A. Detailed Sketch of Transmission Cables and Transmission Cable Ladder System
a. Provide details of the type, size and number of existing transmission cables including relative positions and
arrangement on the cable ladder system.
b. A new sketch for (a) above is required whenever there is a change in the number of cables and the sketch
should indicate the top and bottom tower elevations where the cable arrangement is applicable.
c. Provide details of the cable ladder system including width, type and size of ladder rails, type size and spacing
of cable support brackets.
d. If the transmission cable ladder system is integral with the climbing ladder system then this sketch must
include details of the climbing ladder system including the following :
- Width, type and size of climbing ladder rails.
- Diameter, type and spacing of ladder rungs.
- Safety cage vertical flat bar size and arrangement.
- Safety cage horizontal flat bar size and spacing.
e. Provide measurement of vacant space available on the cable ladder system.
f. If the transmission cable ladder system is isolated from the climbing ladder system then show the position on
the tower.
