I hope you are doing well. Firstly, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Fauzia, daughter of
Bostan. I am Afghan refugee living in Hazara Town, Quetta, Pakistan since last 30 years. I am POR card
holder and right now enrolled at BUITEMS in BS English 4 years’ program. The purpose of this email is to
inform you that I am doing well with my studies and grades. I have secured 2.9 CGPA and currently in
the end of second semester. I was unaware of the DAFI scholarship and I didn’t apply on due time and
after the admission fees I submitted another semester fees of 25000/- PKR today.

My father was working in coal mine sector on daily wages and now he is over age and unable to work.
Right now my brother’s work on free launching is our only source of income and I took loan to submit
my semester fees. I was unaware of the International Center for Refugees and Migration Studies
(ICRMS) at BUITEMS. One of my teacher introduced me to the center and the director of the center Mr.
Hammal Aslam told me to email you that if there is any exception for me to apply on DAFI scholarship so
I would be able to repay the loan I took for semester fees and finance my studies at BUITEMS.

I will be very grateful if you accept my apology for not applying on DAFi on time. If you accept my
request and allow me to apply now it will help me a lot to continue my higher studies.
