311 is Los Angeles’ hotline for services, however, the site LADBS (online inspections & permits) can

be even more useful

● you will be calling 311 to set up inspection depending on which jobsite and under on what
permit

● i have separated each permit per jobsite per area

● example if matt wants a rebar inspection for pool equipment of gardner

● you will use the permit of the pool vault when you call 311

● and then tell them what kind of inspection he needs for the pool vault in that case he wanted
the rebar

● they will give you available date and time you need to ask matt if that is fine with him if he
says okay you need to update the calendar and tell him that you set that inspection for that
date and time

● you need to give his name and his num as contact person. on the date of inspection matt will
be receiving call from 311 confirming what time the inspection will take place

● in the event matt changes his mind you need to call in 311 again to make the changes
