Since this survey was conducted, ServiceNow has released two further new versions; Quebec, in early 2021, and Rome, which hit general
availability in September.
Quebec brought with it several exciting new features, including the App Engine Studio, which allows developers of all experience levels to build
apps using low-code programming and templates. New tools were also introduced to help monitor and optimize both workflows and workforces,
namely Process Optimization and Workforce Optimization respectively. Native AI functionality was also added to the platform, with features like
Predictive AIOps brought in to proactively spot issues, AI Search, which offers consumer-grade search experiences, and an intelligent chatbot
service called Virtual Agent.
The Rome release, on the other hand, is focused on what ServiceNow is calling Employee Workflow; tools, automations, and apps within the
platform designed to make the lives of end user employees simpler in this new age of hybrid and remote work.
Coming up in 2022, we expect to see the San Diego release in Q2, with Tokyo following in Q4.
